Event Base were brought in to build a covered premium VIP hospitality zone for GH Mumm to host their glamorous guest list seeking a luxurious race day experience. The area was designed to offer unobstructed views of the racing action and to be a hospitality space for guests to mingle, enjoy a gourmet luncheon and champagne.
Additional to the GH Mumm VIP area was the build of a main bar area sponsored by Corona to allow for a higher volume bar solution for race attendees in the public area.
Creative Structures marquee systems were the perfect solution for creating this environment with a cohesive and striking layout that was open, inviting, and featured highly visible GH Mumm branding. The marquees customisable and joinable design technology allowed them to be configured in a ‘village formation’ that allowed for premium race viewing and created space for a large guest list to dine without ever feeling crowded. The rounded white dome shapes also ensured a polished backdrop for stunning photography at the event.
For the Corona main public bar area, a 15m x 15m Truss structure was a great fit for the space, allowing for expansive crowd cover, a sturdy base for hanging lighting and branded back wall, and space to install a wide length custom built bar solution.
The event was a huge success with race attendees loving the glamorous experience on offer in the GH Mumm marquee environment and the more casual bar environment in the Corona public bar area.
